Abstract :
In the interbus transformer (IBT) protection system, it is the main element in the
distribution system where power distribution can be disrupted and obstructed and even damage
to equipment. To maintain the N-1 criteria and setting the overload shedding (OLS) to work at
110%, the load on the Interbus Transformer (IBT) cannot exceed 60% to maintain system
reliability. Disturbances that often occur in Interbus Transformer (IBT) are excessive loads as a
result of one of them, namely criteria N-1 or excessive consumer power, so this can be overcome
by applying overload shedding. Overloading is a scheme to mitigate overcurrent in transmission
equipment or transformers by removing the load in other locations so that widespread blackouts
do not occur. Evaluation of the application of overloading the interbus transformer (IBT)
Balaraja Baru 1.2 ? Lengkong 1.2, namely calculating the setting current and then the load
shedding target so that it can be known when OLS installation and when there is no OLS
installation in the distribution system.
