Abstract :
In the development of the use of electrical energy, the problem of power losses (losses) needs
special attention. Because this can lead to reduced energy sold to customers. Where if in one
feeder there is a transformer that is experiencing an overload condition, then transformer
management actions will be carried out by balancing the load on the transformer. So that in this
thesis, load data is collected on the TC-08 Seruway feeder distribution transformer with an
overloaded transformer, namely the SRW036-00 transformer with a capacity of 50 kVA and the
SRW032-00 transformer with a maximum load of 22.61 kVA or 90.44% of transformer capacity
of 25 kVA. From the simulation results with ETAP. in the name of the SRW036 substation, the
load is broken into the SRW023 substation, the resulting losses at the SRW036-00 substation
before transformer management are 0.868 KW and 1.3 KVar and after transformer management
are 0.531 KW and 0.792 KVar, as for the value of the SRW023 substation before management
transformer of 0.272 KW and 0.408 KVar and after transformer management of 0.528 KW and
0.792 KVar. In the name of the SRW032 substation, when the load is broken into the SRW043
substation, the resulting losses at the SRW032-00 substation before transformer management are
0.435 KW and 0.653 KVar and after transformer management are 0.138 KW and 0.207 KVar,
while the value of the SRW043 substation before transformer management is 0.138 KW and 0.207
KVar. 0.009 KW and 0.013 KVar and after transformer management 0.091 KW and 0.137 KVar.
With the management of the transformer net by balancing the load, the resulting losses in the
transformer are better and make these components normal.
