Abstract :
The potential for renewable energy is quite large to be developed in Indonesia, especially in the
field of solar power plants, with Indonesia's position on the equator so that it is very supportive
in the installation of solar power plants. In the feasibility analysis of solar power plants in
Pemanikan Village using an off grid system by installing 18 units of modules with a capacity of
150Wp, 24 units of 12V 100Ah batteries, 1 piece of 2000Watt inverter and 1 SCC. For total load
consumption of the overall average daily load for 3 houses required is 3.04 kWh. In this design,
it uses homer pro software to obtain integrated solar irradiation data from NASA and analyze
optimization in terms of economics, through homer pro software the initial investment cost
required is IDR 186,149,800.00 the results of simulating the feasibility of optimization and
economics in Homer Pro software in terms of technical terms, namely the energy produced is
4,241 kWh / year, when compared to the use of diesel with an initial investment price of IDR
43,430,212,614.98, where the energy price is IDR 1,844,746.00 / kWh, so it can be said that the
installation of an off-grid solar power plant with a capacity of 4 kWp can be done and more
efficient than diesel.
