Abstract :
With the amount of electrical energy needed the higher, the more renewable energy is
used so that it requires energy storage media, one of which is in the form of batteries. The
battery used is a b aterai that can be done repeatedly, the batteryis a lithium ion battery.
When lithium ion batteries are used, it requires a medium for battery preparation, namely
in the form of a battery holder. On each positive and negative pole of the battery holder
there are electrodes. When theaterai is connected to the load, it will experience a
temperature increase in the e-lektrode baterai holder which will later affect the
performance of the lithium ion battery is unstable and can reduce the performance of the
lithium ion battery. An experiment was carried out by replacing the electrodes of the
battery holder with copper, nickel and aluminum electrodes with connected resistive
loads whose values vary. When connected with resistive loads valued at 1? and 2?, the
average current and average temperature values are obtained the lowest on the nickel
holder battery electrode, while for the highest on the aluminum holder battery electrode.
However, when conditions are connected with a resistive load worth 3?, the lowest and
highest average current values occur in copper and aluminum electrodes, while the
lowest and highest average temperature values occur in nickel and copper.
