Abstract :
In the electric power system to distribute continuously and reliably, it is necessary to
restore the distribution system quickly and accurately. In the process of distributing
electrical energy, the level of reliability is an important indicator because the value of
the reliability indicates the performance condition of the system. The electricity
distribution system at UP3 Kramat Jati, especially at the Cawang Baru Substation, still
often experiences disturbances which are usually caused by animal activities, equipment
and material disturbances, therefore it is necessary to evaluate the reliability index so
that electricity distribution to consumers runs smoothly. The purpose of this study is to
determine and analyze the reliability index and the level of reliability of the distribution
system feeder at UP3 Kramat Jati where this requires data on the total number of outages
of customers, total disturbances and duration of blackouts in 2021. The method used to
determine a reliability index is the System Average Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI)
and System Average Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI) methods based on SPLN 59:
1985. The results of the SAIDI calculation, SAIFI reliability index on the largest feeder
in 2021, the Cassava feeder was obtained, namely the SAIDI value of 0.051 hours/
customers/year, then the SAIFI value obtained is 0.15 times/customer/year. Then the
largest CAIDI result was obtained by Cassava feeder with a CAIDI value of 1.041
hours/year. So based on SPLN 59: 1985 for the SAIDI and SAIFI values from the data
obtained by UP3 Kramat Jati it can be said to be reliable.
