Abstract :
The network that carries the electric charge must have a good standard of protection accuracy so that it can be channeled and then used for household needs, factories, and large companies. Protection relay manufacturers are required to test the feasibility of the relay before being used or distributed to the PLN implementing unit or manufacturer. With this background, the researchers conducted research on the accuracy of overcurrent protection (OCR) by testing the type of functional test of OCR relay accuracy at PT PLN PUSERTIF Duren Tiga. After obtaining the test results, an analysis of the accuracy of the OCR relay was carried out based on the IEC standard 60255-151-2009 and a comparative analysis between the calculations and the test results. The results of the OCR relay accuracy test are all in accordance with the standard, the first is the accuracy of the setting (start) value obtained a maximum value of 0.50% (±1%), the accuracy of the working time of the Instant delay time characteristic has a maximum value of 32.90 ms (? 40 ms) , accuracy of working time with maximum definite time delay test results 29 ms (<30 ms ) and also accuracy of working time with inverse delay time obtained maximum test results are at 2.11% (<3%), Transient overreach testing maximum value of test results 8% (?10%) , Transient Overshoot time with maximum results of Transient Overshoot 30 ms (< 40 ms) , Response time to changes in fault current obtained test results of 4.52% (<15%).
