Abstract :
often occur due to disturbances or maintenance that can be detrimental. So that PT. PLN
must improve the reliability of electricity, with efforts to avoid blackouts on the
customer side. For this effort, PT. PLN provides a double incoming facility, in other
words, the customer will be supplied from 2 feeders by using a double incoming cubicle
with ACO as feeder switching automatically with a time of 0.03 seconds so that the
customer does not feel the blackout. The method used is Comparative Quantitative. To
determine the reliability before and after the ACO was installed, a reliability index was
determined, namely SAIDI and SAIFI. The average SAIDI score before using ACO was
1.04 hours/customer/year. Once installed it becomes 0 hours/customer/year or the
customer does not experience outages. And for the calculation of the SAIFI value before
using the ACO of 6 times / customer. After installation it becomes 0 times/customer.
The ENS value before using ACO was 53419.4 kWh, after being installed it became 0
kWh. After using the ACO, the rupiah saved after the ACO installation was Rp.
46,906,854.63. So that the installation of ACO can provide efforts so as not to
experience blackouts for customers, especially premium customers.
