Abstract :
The reliability level of the distribution system can be determined by calculating the SAIDI
(System Average Interruption Duration Index), SAIFI (System Average Interruption
Frequency Index) and CAIDI (Customer Average Interruption Duration Index) values
using the section technique and FMEA methods. PLN (Persero) UP3 Kramat Jati in 2021
using the section technique and FMEA methods. With the standard PLN (SPLN) No 68-
2 of 1986 with a SAIFI value of 3.2 times/year and SAIDI 21.09 hours/year and the IEEE
standard std 1366-2003 with a SAIFI value of 1.45 times/year SAIDI 2.3 hours /year and
CAIDI 1.47 hours/year. The results of calculations at the Cawang Substation using the
section technique method obtained a SAIDI value of 0.26 hours/year SAIFI 0.71
times/year CAIDI 0.371 hours/year, while the FMEA method obtained a SAIDI value of
0.11 hours/year SAIFI 0.23 times/year CAIDI 0.47 hours/year. From the value of the
reliability index with the section technique and FMEA method, it was found that at PT.
PLN (Persero) UP3 Kramat Jati can be said to be reliable because the value of SAIDI,
SAIFI, and CAIDI is below the standard value of PLN (SPLN) No. 68-2 of 1986 and the
IEEE standard std 1366-2003.
