Abstract :
As the load grows every year, the demand for electrical energy increases. Therefore, to
improve system reliability and meet consumer needs, it is planned to add a 48 MWac
Solar Power Plant at Lake Singkarak in accordance with the 2021 - 2030 RUPTL which
will be interconnected with the Padang Panjang GI. The method used is a quantitative
method. The analysis carried out is optimizing the PLTS output power on PVsyst 7.2,
power flow, short circuit and transient in the Central Sumatra system using Digsilent
Power Factory 15.1 then the voltage data at the Padang Panjang Substation has
increased from 149.48 kV to 149.95 kV after the integration of PLTS and the percentage
of power losses decreased from 5.9% to 4.3%. The intermittent PLTS Floating does not
affect the stability of the Central Sumatra electricity system and only results in a slight
decrease in frequency from 50 Hz to 49.996 Hz and is still within the standard limit
referring to Connection Code Code 3.1 2020, which is within the limit of 49.0 Hz < f 51.0
Hz where the system is still allowed to operate continuously and the voltage fluctuates
from 147.6 kV to 147.375 kV then returns to a stable point of 147.508 kV indicating the
system is still stable referring to Connection Code 3.2 2020 where the standard voltage
drop of 150 kV is (+10%, -10 %).
