Abstract :
The intensity of solar radiation in Indonesia has a relatively constant
value, it is necessary to use it to develop optimal renewable energy, especially
Solar Power Plants, in this thesis discusses the planning of solar power plants
(SPP) as an alternative source of electrical energy at Teras Bumi Coffee, Cirebon
City, it is hoped that this planning can be used as a reference for the development
of SPP in other buildings to participate in utilizing renewable energy, especially
SPP, in this planning an analysis is carried out from a technical and economic
point of view. This study uses quantitative research methods and analyzes are
then described descriptively to obtain a design to supply electricity with an
estimated load of 187,586 kWh coffee shops. The SPP in this shop is installed
with an On Grid system with a capacity of 18.36 kWp. It consists of 34 solar
panels with 2 modules arranged in parallel and 17 solar modules arranged in
series. The inverter capacity used in this plan is 15 kW. The initial investment
required for the construction of this Solar Power Plant is IDR 217,165,500,-. With
an interest rate factor of 4.25% and a project life of 10 years, the Discounted
Payback Period (DPP) shows the return on the initial investment of the SPP
project in Teras Bumi Coffee, Cirebon City, which is less than 10 years.
