Abstract :
Calculating electrical system reliability is important because it determines the
quality and availability of power service to customers. With 60 dam feeder failures in 2021,
the reliability indicators need to be analyzed. This study uses a quantitative approach by
means of correlation studies. The calculation method used, i.e. that of the section method,
has the advantage that it is a simple calculation and the parameters used are continuous and
instantaneous failure rates, making the final result of this method more accurate in the field.
increase. Based on the calculated results, the dam feeder reliability in 2021 is SAIFI value
of 1.350797 failures/year and SAIDI value of 4.404207578 hours/year. Comparing this
value with SPLN No. 59 of 1985, we can say that SAIFI feeders are unreliable and SAIDI
feeders are reliable. In order to improve the value of the reliability index of the distribution
system, regular maintenance or service can be carried out to operate the distribution network
equipment safely, reliably, effectively and efficiently, and to enhance the reliability of
distribution.
