Abstract :
On February 5, 2022, there was a disturbance in the electrical system of the Traction Substation at Bojong Indah Station and the Traction Substation at Kalideres Station with an indication of a shock current of 8561A, so reliable and fast protection is needed. In an effort to maintain the reliability of the substation electrical system from indications of disturbance, an implementation is carried out that aims to send information quickly so that it can maintain the substation electrical equipment. This interconnection system uses Linked Breaking Device (LBD) protection which is implemented using 2 PLCs which are simulated for 2 substations. The method used in solving the problem is descriptive qualitative by conducting interviews and looking for data that describes the events at the time of the shock current. simulation process for implementation using PLC Siemens Tia Portal V14. The coordination system is run using 2 PLCs which have inputs 1 and 0 with a received block and a send block so that later the 2 PLCs are connected to each other. The delivery trial was carried out to be able to send information from one substation to the next substation by inputting a shock current at an incident of 8561A to the LBD of the next substation. So, with this PLC, we can control and secure substation equipment from interference or damage.
