Abstract :
IDF 3 phase 6 kv motor is one of the induction motors used at PLTU Ombilin to
suck exhaust gases coming out of the combustion chamber to the stack (chimney).
IDF motors in daily load changes experience changes in motor performance such
as: output power, reactive power, motor torque, and motor efficiency. The
purpose of this research is to study and see the performance of the 3 phase 6 kV
IDF Motor against changes in daily load during the generator performance test.
From the results of the analysis, it is found that as the generator load increases, the
output power, reactive power, motor torque and motor efficiency also increase,
where at 100 MW generator load for 01 IDF 100 MO, the highest output power is
342.623 Kw, reactive power is 256.967 Kvar, motor torque is 3296.54 Nm and
motor efficiency 95,5 % .
