Abstract :
The rapid development of the population in the north coast (north coast) of Madura Island has influenced
the surge in the need for electrical energy. This is what triggers a new problem for PT. PLN UP3 Pamekasan
to supply electricity by distributing 4 feeders from the Sampang Substation to supply electricity to the
northern coast of Madura Island. The author here takes improvement mitigation by making a Technical
Loss Analysis on the Pamekasan UP3 Distribution Network in Banyuates Feeders with the Operational
Feasibility Study method using the Etap Application, the author here previously did a problem mapping
with root cause problem solving to get mitigation patterns from each root cause which The mitigation
pattern will be determined using a priority matrix and obtained by building a new feeder with the aim of
improving technical losses which will then be assessed for operational feasibility. From the mitigation of
the construction of the banyuates feeder, it was found that a decrease in the value of technical losses was
found by improving the voltage drop, namely the difference between before and after losses of 2.6% with
an average load of 6140.92 MwH. The next step the author performs calculations for the planning scheme
in the next 1 year with the average load value from the simulation results of the construction of the feeder
which is then synchronized with the load factor and loss factor obtained at the dispatcher, namely
0.986356324 for the load factor and 0.974917427 for the loss factor.
