Abstract :
The transformer is an important component of the distribution system because it
acts as a load regulator using the principle of electromagnetic induction by converting
electrical energy from one circuit to another through magnetic coupling. The factor that
causes loss of life of the transformer is loading. Distribution Transformer with substation
code 43180KR047 with a peak load of 28% obtained a daily life loss of 6.72 hours, so
that the remaining life of the Transformer is 18.59 years. Distribution Transformer with
substation code 43180KR065 with a peak loading of 33%, the age loss per day is 7.24
hours, so the remaining life of the transformer is 18,24 years. Distribution transformer
with substation code 43180KR076 with a peak load of 18.83%, the age loss per day is
4.52 hours, so the remaining life of the transformer is 19,42 years. The higher the load
on a transformer, the value of life shrinkage will also be greater. The increase in ambient
temperature will affect the magnitude of the increase in the hot spot temperature, the
higher the value of the ambient temperature, the hot spot temperature will also be greater
as well as the value of the reduced life of the transformer. The higher the load on the
transformer, the value of life shrinkage will be greater and the remaining life of the
transformer will be smaller.
