Abstract :
The 120 kWp Solar Power Plant (PLTS) at PT. PJB UP Muara Karang is one of the power plants used to supply power to the load contained in the breaker Motor control center (MCC 5C) which serves to reduce self-use in the PLTU 45 unit. connected to the PLN grid. The 120 kWp PLTS system owned by PT. PJB UP Muara Karang was built and operated since October 2021. It is necessary to calculate the ratio of performance, efficiency and calculation of investment costs and how long it will take for the capital to return. From the results of the calculation of the efficiency of this solar module panel, the highest efficiency value is 18% at 14.00, the lowest is 9.8% at 08.00. and the value of the Performance Ratio is obtained with an average of 84%. According to the IEC, the PLTS system is effective or feasible to use if the ratio performance value is 70% to close to 100%. Efficiency calculations were carried out for 8 months from October to May 2022 on the three PLTS inverters where the average output value of the three inverters was 98.3% so that it was in accordance with the technical data listed in the component specifications, namely 98.6%..Total investment costs to install PLTS On Grid 120 kWp at PT PJB UP Muara Karang, which is Rp. 1,189,694,023.1.-. The initial investment cost of installing this PLTS system will payback for 4.3 years with monthly savings of Rp. 23,281,239?/Month 3% so that it is in accordance with the technical data stated in the component specifications, which is 98.6%..The total investment cost to install PLTS On Grid 120 kWp at PT PJB UP Muara Karang is Rp. 1,189,694,023.1.-.
