Abstract :
The security of the electric power distribution system is one aspect of service fulfillment.
The existence of blackouts or disturbances that occur in an electric power system becomes
a barometer of the reliability of the system. Automatic Circuit Breaker / Recloser is one
of the safety devices on the 20 kV SUTM which operates to anticipate temporary
disturbances to anticipate power outages, prevent the expansion of the blackout area, and
ensure the electricity distribution continues to operate properly.. This final task was made
with the aim of knowing the impact of adding a recloser in Naioni feeder on the reliability
index value of SAIFI, SAIDI and Energy Not Supplied at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Kupang
for the period 2018 to 2020. From the calculation results of the SAIDI index value in
2020, which is 13.41 hours/year, it is categorized as reliable because it is below the limit
of the SPLN standard of 59:1985, namely the limit of the SAIDI index value of 21.09
hours/year. and the results of the calculation of the SAIFI value in 2020, which is 12 times
/ year, are categorized as less reliable because the value of the SAIFI index exceeds the
SPLN standard 59:1985, the limit for the SAIFI index value is 3.2 times / year, while for
energy not supplied it shows a decrease from 2018 to 2020, which means the addition of
a recloser has a positive impact on increasing the reliability of the Naioni feeder.
