Abstract :
The earthing system can be conceptualized as a circuit or network that extends from
the earthing pole or electrode to the earthing terminal through the conductor, the
conductor, and finally the earth terminal. The goal is to secure the installation
components so that they can be protected from the threat of potentially dangerous
currents and voltages from outside sources. For the value of grounding resistance on
the tower must be below 10 according to the standard SPLN 121: 1996. The
counterpoise method is an attempt to reduce the value of the grounding resistance of
the 150kV tower. This analysis uses technical data and tower resistance
measurements to obtain results that are in accordance with the SPLN standard: 1996.
From the measurement results of the 150 kV Perwang - New Garuda Sakti tower
There is a resistance value that exceeds 10 to improve the tower resistance value, the
counterpoise method is used using 4 electrodes and a grid enhancer so that the tower
grounding value is below 10 according to the SPLN 121 : 1996 standardy
