Abstract :
SAIDI (System Average Interruption Duration Index), SAIFI (System Average
Interruption Frequency Index) and CAIDI (Customer Average Interruption Duration
Index) are one of the benchmarks for performance management in the electricity sector,
especially in the distribution sector. These values indicate the magnitude of the failure
index or the distribution system outage that results in inability of the consumers to enjoy
electricity services. The purpose of this study was to obtain the reliability index value of
SAIDI, SAIFI and CAIDI, data on the group of disturbances that exist in the component
values of SAIDI, SAIFI and CAIDI and determine the percentage of each group of
disturbances to the SAIDI and SAIFI values of PT PLN (Persero) Area Pemalang
period 2021. The highest SAIDI reliability index value occurred in December 2021 at
1.2496 Hours/Customer while for SAIFI the highest occurred in December 2021 at
1.2286 Times/Customer and for CAIDI the highest occurred in October 2021 at 1.9433
Hours/Disruption Time. There are 5 groups of distribution disturbances that have a
direct impact on the value of SAIDI, SAIFI and CAIDI, namely the group of
disturbances to the facilities of Substations, Feeders, Distribution Substations, Low
Voltage Networks (JTR), House Connection and Limiting Measuring Devices (SR and
APP). The average percentage of each group of disturbances to the total value of SAIDI
and SAIFI of PT PLN (Persero) Pemalang Area in 2021, among others, the disturbance
group of Substation Facilities 6.47% and 5.47%, the disturbance group of Feeding
Facilities 92, 24% and 92.88%, the distribution substation facility disturbance group
0.53% and 0.53%, the Low Voltage Network Facility (JTR) disturbance group 0.12%
and 0.15%, the House Connection and Limiting Measuring Devices (SR and APP) are
0.64% and 0.97%.
