Abstract :
Superconductor is a material with a certain composition that is capable of delivering electric current below its critical temperature without any obstacles (? = 0) so that no power is lost. In this research, the synthesis of the FeSeTe superconductors will be carried out by making Monofilament wire. Because so far FeSeTe research has not yet reached the wire making process. Variations in the stoichiometric composition used were Fe1SexTex (Sex = 0.5; 0.75) (Tex = 0.5; 0.25) and samples for each Fe1SexTex were taken for each Diameter = 5.0mm, 4.0mm, and 3.0mm. . where it was found that the smaller the diameter and with stiokiometry Fe1Se0,5Te0,5, the better results were compared with the others. The process in making Monofilament FeSeTe superconducting wire is through 3 processes, namely closing the tube using the press method (PIST), wire heating (Furnace) and reducing cross section diameter (Rolling) after the characterization test (Cryogenic) and analyzing the surface morphology of SEM (Scaning Electron Microscopy) , and know the phase formed XRD (X-Ray Diffraction). Monofilament wire using SS316 tube is 5.0 mm in diameter and 17cm in length is 2 pieces.
