Abstract :
In electric power systems, harmonics are caused by non-linear loads including three- phase air conditioner loads, and the relationship between temperature differences is an object that is very influential on the temperature of the air conditioner in the room. The purpose of this study is to determine the limit of the use of indoor air conditioning temperature and take into account the new capacity of the air conditioner, analysis of losses in electric power every hour. The relationship between THD and ?T variables produces multiple regression equations and ?T and power losses variables produce positive and negative linear regression equations. Quantitative method used is data retrieval through harmonic measurement instruments with outdoor and indoor temperatures. Factor ?T, THD Current and voltage, Losses of electric power and Regression further analysis and drawing conclusions. The results of the discussion show that harmonics cause losses in electrical power. ?T affects the temperature outside and inside, the high and low performance of the Air conditioner affects the performance of the compressor so that there is an unbalanced load. The results of the data analysis obtained from the sample measurement data, namely ?T 1.0°C- 4.6°C, THD 18.52% - 71.48%, THDI 5.83% - 6.62% and the highest power loss was 0.452 - 0.669kW. Analysis of the new AC capacity of 89,446 BTU/h (9.9 PK) based on the Harmonic measurement sample, the loss of electrical power per hour is 0.4kW in one day 7.60kW. the actual use of the AC temperature is 21°C, 22°C and 24°C. for the estimator regression y = + bx is y = 11.217 + 2.729x there is an increase in the temperature of the indoor air conditioner by 2.729°C. The cycle of variables THD and ?T at constants a and b has an average value of Y = -0.099 + 0.235 X and cycle variables ?T and Losses constants a and b have an average value of a = 0.161 and b = 9.960 hours 6.00-12.00 WIB and parameters a and b constants a = -0.069 and b = 3.835 hours 12.00-18.00 WIB.
