Abstract :
Decision support systems (DSS) are systems intended to support decision?making management and computer-based systems capable of solving
unstructured problems. One of the decision-making problems that can be
solved by SPK is selecting the best Sarung in the world of textiles. The many
types of Sarungs often make people confused, especially for those who don't
know what kind of Sarung they want to use. At the author's research location,
namely the world of textiles, the decision to choose a Sarung is still done
traditionally, namely by manual method. This study aims to build a web-based
decision support system for selecting the best Sarung using the SMART
(Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) method. The criteria used consist
of 5 namely; brand with 10% weight, material with 30% weight, quality with
15% weight, pattern with 30% weight, and price with 15% weight. Meanwhile,
the products used are 16 types of Sarung products. The results of the calculation
of the decision support system for choosing a Sarung using the SMART
(Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) method, the highest score is the
Signature product (X3) with a value of 0.90 based on existing criteria
calculations.
