Abstract :
The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on MSME players due to social
restrictions that are strictly enforced by the government so that consumer behavior shifts
from buying offline to buying online. Therefore, MSME actors must also follow customer
behavior patterns by serving online. In the case of UMKM Dapoer Citra, the owner had
difficulty recording sales results because sales records were still using books and these
books were often mixed with other books making them difficult to find. As a result of
this, owners are often wrong in predicting sales results for the following month. From
these problems, the author created a point of sales (cashier) application to help Dapoer
Citra UMKM owners in recording sales results and using a simple linear regression
method to predict sales results in the following month. The purpose of this study is to
make it easier for MSME owners to record sales results and predict sales results in the
following month. Based on the research that has been done by the author, the Dapoer
Citra UMKM point of sales application can run well, assisting the owner in developing
his business, as well as assisting the owner in determining policies related to his business
in the following month..
