Abstract :
Tourism is a travel activity carried out by a person or group of people by going to certain places for recreation. Culinary tourism is tourism that focuses on a collection of various kinds of culinary, including food and beverage which is one segment of tourism. Recommendation systems are concerned with various decision-making processes. The purpose of this study is to create a decision support system that can recommend tourist and culinary spots in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi using the Weighted Product Method. The Weighted Product method uses multiplication as a rating determination, where each attribute rating must be raised to the first power of its respective weight. The recommendation system application that was built has a feature of displaying a list of tourist and culinary recommendations, rating by users, directing users to tourist and culinary attractions through Google Maps. The trial scenario is carried out by comparing the results of manual calculations and the results given by the system are in accordance with manual calculations. With each having assessment criteria, namely tourism has tourism criteria, namely Atmosphere, Price, Service, Facilities, and Mileage. While the culinary criteria are Taste, Cleanliness, Price, Service, and Quality. The top ranking for tourism is the Kendari Bay Bridge with a value of 0.1033 and the culinary ranking obtained is Mokko Donat with a value of 0.0120
