Abstract :
Indonesia is making efforts to tackle climate change, strengthened by various policy changes, especially in the energy sector. These efforts are being made by Indonesia to achieve the target of reducing emissions and net zero emissions (carbon neutrality) which are planned to be achieved in 2060 or earlier, to achieve clean energy procurement through changes in energy use, from fossil energy, to renewable energy (EBT) and green energy to reduce global warming, one way is by using PLTS (solar power plants) to utilize solar energy by absorbing solar panels. This research discusses about designing the use of PLTS in housing using technical and economic analysis methods. This PLTS system is designed to supply electricity needs to assist daily activities. In The design requires 15 260 wp monocrystalline solar panels, 1 MPPT 2400 Solar Charge Controller with a capacity of 2.4 kW, 1 NB48-2KDZ inverter with a capacity of 2 kW, and 20 battery units with a capacity of 200 Ah per housing unit. The initial investment cost for this PLTS system is Rp. 150,567,038.
