Abstract :
Planning for a 3 kWp OFF-Grid PLTS system with a capacity of 320 Wp solar
modules totaling 9 panels at PT Sarana Global Teknik using simulation calculations from
the PVSyst software model 7.3. this application can provide a visual picture of the
specifications of the PLTS system needed to get maximum energy performance. This plan
uses the PVSyst simulation as a comparison of PLTS that uses a solar tracking system with
those without using the system. The factors that become comparisons are related to data on
the intensity of sunlight and the performance of the energy efficiency produced in a year.
The results of processing PVSyst data for a system without a ray tracker obtained an
average available energy per year of 4.15 kWh/year, while those using a ray tracking
system were 4.83 kWh/year and the performance of the intensity of solar radiation without
a system tracker is 1749.5 kWh/m2, whereas with the tracker system obtained 2007.8
kWh/m2.
