Abstract :
Current solar tracking readings tend to be impractical in direct measurements,
where the drawback of direct readings is that when the user is not at the location, they
cannot know the monitoring results obtained. Therefore, this research designed a
monitoring tool for the Solar Tracking system using the Internet of Things (Iot) with
Esp8266 to make it easier to read monitoring results from remote locations. In this study,
a DC voltage sensor, a current sensor (ACS712), sublime text and the PhpMy Admin
application were used to display the results of the sensor readings obtained. This study
uses a quantitative experimental method. The results of this study indicate that the voltage
value of the monitoring system has been able to send sensor measurement results, there
are changing voltage and current values due to changing temperature and irradiation.
Conclusion of the Solar Tracker Monitoring System using Voltage and Current sensors,
where these sensors can measure the output Voltage and Current on the Solar Tracker
and the results of the output are accurate and the results obtained can be displayed on
phhMy Admin.
