Abstract :
In its development, based on RUPTL 2021-2030 for the Ceram Electrical System, it is planned to
build PLTMG Seram 2 with a capacity of 20 MW targeted for COD (Commercial Operation Date)
in 2022. There are several considerations that cause PLTMG Seram 2 with a capacity of 20 MW
with a planned COD target of 2022 will be delayed in an unknown time, so PLN UIW Maluku and
North Maluku together with PLN UIP Maluku Papua are taking steps, namely planning to operate
the 150 kV transmission line and substation whose development is in line with the RUPTL 2021-
2030, namely the Ceram Electrical System was built transmission line 150 kV and substation
targeted COD in 2022 then planned to operate at the end of 2023 to evacuate power from PLTMG
Seram 2x10 MW located in Masohi in Central Maluku to distribute power to the load center (Masohi?Kairatu-Piru) so that the isolated Diesel Power Plant can be deactivated.
In the load flow simulation of the Ceram System, it shows that the 150 kV, 20 kV and 11 kV Lines are
in good condition, each bus connected to the system works properly distributing electrical energy
according to the loading demand of each bus with the power generated by the generator at PLTMG
Seram of 12.92 MW and load of 11.79 MW and has a total Grid Losses of 1.38 MW.
From the transient stability analysis carried out, the operation of the Transmision Line 150 kV and
the Substation 150 kV in the Ceram System stimulates transient stability in the form of rotor angle
stability at the PLTMG Masohi generator and system frequency which tends to fluctuate which can
trigger a safety relay from frequency sensing on the generator bus, in the event of a disturbance 3
phases both at Transmision Line 150 kV Masohi Substation ? Kairatu Substation, Transmision Line
150 kV Kairatu Substation ? Piru Substation, and Feeder 20 kV which connects PLTMG Masohi
with Masohi Substation.
