Abstract :
Since 2017, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Area Ulubelu not only operates the
upstream side of SAGS (Steamfield Above Ground System) but the company operates
the downstream side of PLTP, namely Unit 3 and Unit 4 with a capacity of 2 x 55 MW.
The problems that arise are quite diverse in the upstream and downstream sides. The
character of the production well in the area of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energi Ulubelu,
which is predominantly water phase, has a ratio of 80% water and 20% steam. One of the
problems that arises on the upstream side is the absence of a visual monitoring system
and water pond levels in production well clusters during production tests and wells that
experience drop pressure that requires the well to leave the system so that it is flowed to
AFT (Atmospheric Flash Tank). The brine coming from the well is flowed to the pond
(water reservoir) after which it is flowed back to the cold brine reinjection system. So far,
the operator has done visual and water monitoring levels manually using a meter if the
pond level is high, the operator operates the valve to set the pond level which is quite far
from the production well cluster, from this problem the author tries to make an accurate
and precise monitoring tool so that it can streamline the operating time of the reinjection
valve. So the author submitted a research with the title "Design and Build a Level and

Ulubelu".
