Abstract :
In the distribution of electric power, it cannot be fully distributed to consumers,
because it will be lost in the form of power losses and cause a voltage drop. To
minimize voltage drops and power losses, namely by doing the load breaking
method. Load breaking method for networks or refiners that have too long a
network, the load on the network is too large, So the load breaking method on the
network or refiner is also very effective for reducing voltage drop and power loss.
In Sungai Deras, the calculation of power losses using manual calculations got a
result of 3% and from the simulation of ETAP 12.6 software was 14.12%. The
voltage drop on the Sungai Deras Feeder using manual calculations obtained a
result of 14.27 kV or 32% and from a simulation of ETAP software of 14,896 kV
or 29.06%. After the breakdown of the power losses of the Kota Baru I feeders
with manual calculations, the results of power losses of 5% were obtained and
from the ETAP simulation, 4.7% were obtained. Voltage Drop after breaking the
load from the calculation results of 17.08 kV or 18.67% while from the ETAP
simulation results obtained a voltage of 18.98 kV or 10%.
