Abstract :
As Industry 4.0 develops, especially in the electricity industry, it is increasingly necessary to have a
reliable and complex monitoring system. SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) is a
computer-based industrial control system that is used to control a process, such as industrial
processes: manufacturing, factory, production, and also electric motors. In this research, a control
and monitoring system design based on SCADA Vijeo Citect was made for the use of 3-phase induction
motors. The 3 Phase Induction Motor will be connected through an inverter which will be controlled
by PLC and monitored by SCADA. The use of SCADA software in this study functions to monitor,
operate and control machines or processes in a plant with a computer so that it does not require
switches or the like. In this study, the device is set in line with the Programmable Logic Controller
(PLC) so as to produce a system that is in accordance with the SCADA parameters. Differences in
measurement results that are read by inverters and SCADA are caused by the motor slip percentage
of 0.2% - 0.4% which causes the speed of the 3-phase induction motor to change during measurement..
