Abstract :
SDN 06 Pontianak Timur does not yet have a system to determine the classification of interests, causing the length of the assessment process to determine the Interests and Talents of Students (Extracurricular) in accordance with the student's specialization. So that in the research the author will build a website-based system in the classification of student interests and talents in order to know the interests and talents of students in order to be able to direct students according to the results of the assessment of student interests and talents. The C4.5 algorithm is an algorithm that is widely known and used for data classification that has numeric and categorical attributes. The results of the classification process in the form of rules can be used to predict the value of the discrete type attribute of the new record. .
