Abstract :
This study aims to obtain a model of a vertical agricultural irrigation system for
rice plants and to implement the fuzzy logic method in decision making in the hope that it
can become a recommendation to assist communities in farming during a land crisis. The
fuzzy logic method is implemented in this vertical farming model in order to get the
accuracy value in making decisions. The irrigation system modeling in this tool uses a
water level sensor for the water level and is combined with a relay as an output for on
and off the solenoid valve and pump then the data is sent to the LCD for monitoring. The
results of the accuracy of the implementation of the Sugeno fuzzy logic method in making
decisions on the observation dataset on July 15, 2022 got an accuracy value of 98.6166%,
on July 18, 2022 of 98.6166%, on July 19, 2022 of 98.6166%, and a combination of of
the three days of 99.5371% calculated using the MAPE method. So it can be concluded
that the fuzzy Sugeno method is suitable to be applied because it is able to provide an
accuracy value above 97% in this irrigation system modeling.
