Abstract :
Red chili is a plant that is widely cultivated by Indonesian farmers because the red chili plant is one of the basic needs of the Indonesian people. Therefore, the cultivation of red chili plants requires special attention, because this plant is one of the softwood species that is very vulnerable to weather and the environment. One of them is high temperatures can cause damage to the thylakoid membrane that plays a role in photosynthesis, thereby slowing the photosynthesis process in leaves. With the help of intelligent computing systems and technological developments that are developing, prototypes and monitoring are created that can monitor temperature and humidity in greenhouse rooms based on the Internet of things. And with the support of the Ant Colony Optimization method as an optimization method to determine the ignition of the Exhasut fan automatically according to the location or point where the cooling is most needed, which is read by the DHT22 sensor. Ant Colony Optimization will process the data that has been prepared previously by considering the level of hot air temperature as a probability value trend and determining which points need cooling. This method has an accuracy rate of 80% so that it can help farmers in maintaining temperature conditions in the room.
