Abstract :
Twitter has become one of the media in accommodating public opinion, all audiences
can access and write tweets based on their feelings. This also make the audience
express opinions on the services or products of a company. PLN is one of the
companies that accommodates the opinions of its customers. Opinions conveyed to
PLN may countain negative, positive, or neutral sentiments. This is the purpose of this
study, namely to conduct a sentiments analysis on opinions from twitter relating to
PLN services in the East Kalimantan area. This sentiment uses the support vector
machine algorithm in classifying. The results of the classification using 100 tweet data
with a comparison of 90% training data and 10% testing, the results obtained are 80%
accuracy values.
