Abstract :
The availability of groundwater in agriculture in Indonesia depends on the
conditions in the area where if the rainy season arrives farmers cannot monitor the
availability of groundwater with precision and while chili plants need the right water
discharge in order to bear fruit optimal. Thus, we need a system that can be utilized to
solve problems, by creating a system to control and monitor the availability of
groundwater automatically. In this study using the fuzzy logic method embedded in
Arduino uno microcontroller hardware. This system will irrigate automatically based on
soil moisture data that has been read by the sensor after it is processed through the fuzzy
logic model sugeno, if the availability of groundwater is below the limit needed by chili
plants, then the sensor will send data to adruino to turn on the relay so that the water
pump will turn on and water can flow into the drip and if the groundwater needs have
been met then the sensor will Again send data to adruino so that the relay is turned off.
In this study, the results of the target to be achieved were the creation of a system that
can control and control the availability of groundwater in chili plants with precision using
the sugeno fuzzy logic model algorithm and the success accuracy rate of the tool reached
80% which was calculated using the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), the use
of the fuzzy logic inference algorithm The sugeno model is useful so that the availability
of groundwater in chili plants is in accordance with what is needed so that based on the
researcher's target above, it is hoped that it can be useful for farmers so that water
availability can be utilized optimally and can increase production yields.
