Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to design monitoring to control soil temperature and soil
moisture based on IoT in cayenne pepper plants. Lack of water in cayenne pepper plants
can cause chilies to become small and cause plants to fall easily. And if there is excess
water in the cayenne pepper plant, it causes rot disease in the cayenne pepper plant or
commonly called anthranoxa. High soil moisture can cause crop failure. Fuzzy
Mamdani used in this study is for the decision-making process in monitoring soil
temperature and soil moisture according to the needs of cayenne pepper plants. The
mamdani fuzzy process is useful as the best and specific decision-making process
because the mamdani fuzzy method is more accurate in producing output in the form of
fuzzy sets. The test results in monitoring soil temperature and soil moisture on cayenne
pepper plants obtained measurement results with an accuracy of 90%
