Abstract :
PLN builds electricity transmission lines, especially overhead transmission lines, which is planned with government programs in accelerating the supply of electricity to the multitude citizen. Electric field and magnetic field, known as electromagnetic field, are generated by the presence of electrical transmission line. Problems arise regarding customer complaints about the influence of electromagnetic field Sanggau ? Sekadau high-voltage 150 kV overhead transmission line, so that evidence is needed to convince wider society, especially below the transmission line. The research method used is a quantitative experimental method by carrying out direct measurements below 150 kV overhead Sanggau ? Sekadau transmission line. Measurements were made using the EMF tester GQ EMF-380 V2. Research results showed magnetic field measurement value was 0,17 µT to 0,37 µT or 0,17% to 0,37% below the permissible exposure limit standart (100 µT ) and the electric field value was 1 V/m to 1025 V/m or 0,02% to 20,5% below the permissible exposure limit standart (5 kV/m). In residential house the percentage value of the magnetic field is 0,32% and the electric field is 7,36% below the permissible exposure limit standart. The difference in measurement results due to the influence of the ground surface, and the presence of surrounding objects such as trees, it is found that trees can absorb magnetic field value of 0% to 52,9% and electric fields of 18,6% to 99,9 %.
