Abstract :
The Gas Turbine Power Plant (GTPP) of Gresik operates from 1994 with a gas turbine over time has decreased performance, which will also affect the level of efficiency of the gas turbine. Therefore, the PJB Gresik carried out 'overhaul' maintenance by inspecting the "Combustor Inspection" combustion section on gas turbine. This study aims to determine the effect of the "combustor inspection" overhaul on the efficiency of the gas turbine unit 3 of the Gresik PLTG. The efficiency calculation method is based on the input and output of gas turbine components. brayton cycle thermal efficiency, and fuel consumption. Therefore, the author tries to calculate and analyze the efficiency of gas turbines before and after combustor inspection overhauls and also compare them with commissioning conditions. The results of calculations after overhauling thermal efficiency has the highest increase of 0.78%, ef the contents of the compressor have the highest increase of 1.55%, the combustion chamber efficiency has the highest increase of 0.37%, the turbine efficiency has the highest increase of 0.28%, the fuel consumption has decreased the highest 0.005 kg / kWh. Comparison of thermal efficiency is done in conditions before and after overhauling by commissioning with a 50MW load before overhauling decreased by 0.73% and after overhauling fell by 0.27%. Compressor efficiency before falling by 4.65% and after falling by 4.38%. Fuel chamber efficiency decreased by 1.97% and after falling 1.79%. Turbine efficiency decreased by 0.14% and after decreased by 0.07% and fuel consumption before overhauling rose by 0.014 kg / kWh and after rising by 0.010 kg / kWh.
