Abstract :
ENERGY AND EXERGY ANALYSIS OF PLTG UNIT 1.1 AND UNIT 1.2 AT DIFFERENT LOAD CONDITION IN UJP PLTGU CILEGON. In the research of PLTG system usually only refers to energy efficiency only. In the PLTG system is not enough to refer only energy efficiency or based on Thermodynamics Law I, but it needs to be combined with an exergy approach based on the second Law Thermodynamics. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to conduct energy and exergy analysis on PLTG unit 1.1 and 1.2 to determine the effect of load on energy efficiency and exergy efficiency and to determine the location of exergy destruction and amount of loss to the system at load 167 MW, 176 MW, 190 MW and 200 MW. The results of the study showed that the combustion chamber had the greatest value of exergy detruction, followed by gas turbine and compressor. In PLTG unit 1.1 and unit 1.2 the efficiency value increases with increasing load, for unit 1.1 the load 167 MW, 176 MW, 190 MW and 200 MW the value of the efficiency exergy is 28,92%, 29,05%, 29,26%, and 29,76%, while in unit 1.2 for load 167 MW, 176 MW, 190 MW and 200 MW the value of the efficiency exergy is 28,86%, 29,14%, 29,33%, and 29,84%.
