Abstract :
The Gas Turbine Power Plant (GTPP) of Grati which has been operating since 1997, must have decreased in performance. So it needs to be studied about how efficient the GTPP is operating today. So far, UPJP Perak-Grati has performed test performance based on the heatrate, which has never been carried out in terms of energy analysis and exergy analysis, so this research is very appropriate. The calculation of each state in the system uses energy analysis and exergy analysis equations. Energy and exergy analysis carried out aims to detect the location of exergy destruction and the amount of the loss in the system with a load variation of 50 MW, 75 MW, and 100 MW. The results of the analysis carried out were that the greatest exergy destruction occurred in the combustion chamber. The biggest exergy destruction was experienced in the conditions before the overhaul of the 100 MW load which experienced exergy destruction of 166.00 MW. Exergy efficiency increases after overhaul. The highest increase in efficiency was experienced at 100 MW, which was 3.06% from 21.97 % to 25.03 %.
