Abstract :
In the past few years, energy needs in Indonesia have increased. Especially for electrical energy which has become a basic need in life. Advances in technology both in the industrial sector and other things have led to an increase in the demand for electricity that must be met. PT. Indonesia Power Unit Jasa Pembangkitan Cilegon is one of the power plant (PLTGU) of Cilegon has a power capacity of 740 MW. So that the efficiency of the gas turbine remains optimal, carried out maintenance major inspection of the gas turbine so that efficiency and performance remain optimal. Major inspection is a maintenance of gas turbines which includes maintenance of combustion inspection and turbine inspection. With maintenance major inspection, the efficiency of the gas turbine has increased. Then do analysis efficiency of gas turbine before and after major inspection compared with commissioning parameter and then can find out anything that affects the efficiency of the gas turbine. After calculating, the efficiency of gas turbine has increased before and after major inspection compared with commissioning parameter of 100 MW load is 30.38%, 30.7% and 30.8%. While at a load of 140 MW, it is 33.44%, 34.13% and 34.82%.
