Abstract :
ENERGY AND EXERGY ANALYSIS OF BOILER AND BFWP STEAM POWERPLANT UNIT 6 PT DIAN SWASTATIKA SENTOSA SERANG PLANT . In PLTU systems research usually only refers to energy efficiency. In the PLTU system it is not enough to just refer to energy efficiency or only based on Law 1 Thermodynamics, but it is also necessary to combine it with an exergy approach with based on Law II Thermodynamics. Senstosa to find out the type and loss or heat loss that occurs at the PLTU at minimal, average, and maximum load variations. One method used is the calculation method based on mass balance and energy efficiency and exergy which is influenced by entropy from the efficiency results. Through the results of the energy and exergy analysis, it is obtained a picture of a decrease in performance and the amount of loss due to the exergy that was destroyed which caused inefficiencies in the main components of the PT DSS PLTU. From the results of efficiency, it can be seen that if energy efficiency rises, exergy efficiency decreases. The value of energy efficiency in boiler load 35.25 MW, 41.25 MW, and 45.5 MW is 86.66%, 86.73%, and 88.46% while exergy efficiency is 42.43%, 41.23%, and 35.51%. Energy efficiency values in BFWP are 35.25 MW, 41.25 MW and 45.5 MW are 91,377%, 95.652%, 93.839%. The value of BFWP pump exergy efficiency is 55.146%, 49.971%, 33.882
