Abstract :
Inlet Air Filter is needed to filter outside air that will enter the compressor, combustion chamber, and gas turbine. The air content is arranged in such a way as to keep it clean, this is done so that there is no damage to the components by other particles such as dust, avoid the erosion, the fouling, particle fusion and other causes caused by poor air content. In this paper will discuss the effect of dust levels on inlet air filter of turbine gas performance in UJP IP PLTGU Cilegon. The author analyzes the effects / effects of rising values of pressure drop on inlet air filter of turbine gas performance. This is expected to help find out what percentage of damage experienced by the gas turbine component due to the dirty air filter, by seeing the magnitude of the reduction in efficiency when the gas turbine operates at the same load in a certain period. The hypothesis in this study is if the value of pressure drop on inlet air filter. experiencing an increase, it will further reduce the performance of the Gas Turbine.
