Abstract :
Losses are the loss of the amount of energy that is generated, which affects the amount of energy that can be sold to consumers and affects the level of profitability of the company. The size of the losses from an electric power
system shows the level of efficiency of the system. The research method in this thesis uses quantitative methods. In a feeder there is a transformer which has overloaded and is transferred to a larger capacity, then the losses from the
transformer are calculated. One of these problems occurred in the CPD62 substation with a capacity of 400 kVA where overloaded transformer loading was 93.22% and CPD69 substation with a capacity of 630 kVA with a low load of
25.81%. To overcome this problem transformer management is carried out by means of transformer transformer, that is, by changing the position of the transformer between the CPD62 and CPD69 substations. After the mutation of
the percentage transformer loading on the CPD62 substation became 59.18% and in the CPD69 substation became 40.56%. In addition, transformer losses fell by a difference of 3,574,903576 kWh/year. By performing transformer
transformations, available transformers can be used optimally to overcome the low transformer loading and overloaded transformers even though the transformer supply is limited.
