Abstract :
As it is known that 70% of the earth's surface is covered by sea, while the sea is a land rich with natural resources including the diversity of biological resources that can be utilized for the prosperity and welfare of the community. One source of marine pollution is derived from the oil spill better than the process in ships, offshore drilling or due to the tanker accident. Pollution from oil spills in the sea as a result will be very quickly felt by the people around the beach and very and very significant was another living creature around the beach. This encouraged the author to conduct research in designing a robot ship cleaning waste oil. The making of design prototype robot ship cleaning oil waste using LDR sensor. Data from the sensor that is detected will be processed by the arduino and the LED will light if the detected waste. The results of tests performed on the prototype that the system works well to detect the waste oil. This prototype can be used at sea, and other waters that contaminated waste oil.
