Abstract :
In the operation of a power transformer at a substation it is never separated from interference, both phase and phase to ground short circuit disturbances, as well as what happened to GIS Kabon Jeruk precisely on Bamboo feeders. Interference that occurs can cause losses on the part of the consumer. Therefore, it is necessary to coordinate protection instrument on the outgoing dan incoming of transformer so that interference can be minimized as small as possible. Over current relay is preffered to be used to detect short-circuit between two phases; and ground fault relay is preffered to be used to detect short circuit a phase and neutral.The results obtained on the calculation is for over current relay on the side of the feeder 20 kV has a value of TMS = 0.222, while for ground fault relay on the side of the feeder 20 kV has nlai TMS = 0.108, then for over current relay on the incoming side of 20 kV has a TMS value = 0.202, while for ground fault relay on the incoming side of 20 kV has a value of TMS = 0.234.
