Abstract :
DC system is the heart of substation. DC system functions as a supply for the main equipments at the substation, such as protection relay, control, meter, circuit breaker, and disconnecting switch. This study aims to analyze DC system in Bogor Baru Substation 150 KV such as rectifier output voltage,voltage per cell, battery capacity, voltage drop to the receiver, sizing capacity of rectifier and battery based on existing load, and comparison to the field. Based on calculations and analysis, it can be seen that the rectifier output voltage to the load from Unit 1 to Unit 3 is 117.9 V, 117.4 V, and 115.9 V. Then the battery capacity of Unit 1 to Unit 3 is 86.48%, 93%, and 73.19% from the initial capacity so that according to KEPDIR / 0520/2014, batteries with a capacity above 60% are still categorized as good. Whereas the biggest voltage drop in the panel room is the Busbar Protection Interface Panel of 1.52% and switchyard is Ciawi 2 Bay at 3.1%. With this it can be concluded that the voltage drop is within the safe limit based on the IEC std. 56-2 clause 17 and SPLN 65 1985.With this scientific work, we hope the reader can learn on how important of DC system in substation with the applicable standars that binding it.
