Abstract :
Improved service quality of PT. PLN (Persero) should get better as time increases so that customers or consumers can be satisfied. However, the reality of the electrical power system can occur interference that causes the distribution of power outages in part or total. Frequent electrical disturbances in the distribution network due to less reliable security systems, sensitivity in the security system, selectivity and speed in security. The speed and sensitivity of the protection system equipment in overcoming the disturbance can be set from the GFR and OCR protection settings on the CBO used to work to send a signal to the PMT to disconnect the network. In this thesis will be discussed about the coordination and setting of relay calculations in the CBO as well as repeater sister in Ciputat Area. From the settings obtained that the relay result of the calculation settings have differences with the result of the field setting. From the above data calculation results obtained value relay time setting on the incoming side of the repeater is 0.97 with the value of TMS is 0.27 and on the outgoing side of the repeater is 0.61 seconds with the value of TMS is 0.39. While on the side of cubicle CBO obtained setting time relay is 0.3 seconds with TMS 0.18. This value proves the relay work on CBO cubicles faster than the work of outgoing relays and incoming feeders.
