Abstract :
The power transformer is one of the very important components in the electric power distribution from generation to transmission line. Therefore, it takes care and maintenance in order to avoid failures in the power transformer, one of them by doing testing transformer oil testing i.e. DGA (Dissolved Gas Analysis). DGA test is a transformer condition analysis that is done based on the amount of dissolved gases in transformer oil. In this paper, two methods used analysis of the failure of a transformer that are Key Gas method and Roger's Ratio method. By using these two methods, then it brings the most effective method to analyze failure in transformer oil. After the failure of analysis is obtained, the next method is to analyze the Health Index in determining the performance and condition of the transformer based on the transformer oil condition. The method can show the condition and the reliability of the transformer more clearly, so as to reduce the distractions and handling of the distractions. Research used two transformers which data were taken in 2014, 2015, and 2016 in order to know the performance trends to be able to evaluate the performance and reliability of the two transformers. The results obtained, the transformer in an acceptable or could be said good with the Performance Index of 60%, as seen from the results obtained then the actions that can be done is to increase the test/diagnose on both transformers.
